EVERY YOUNG BOY DREAMS OF BECOMING
A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER.
That may or may not be true.
But I did not dream of it. I want to be a painter.
But wedding photography chose me. I dangerously played around with it, and it drew me in. I found something better than painting. I could instead use people, architecture, light, fabric and petals to make my art. I drew from my impressionist heros to create moments that make you feel something, instead of just recreating a moment.
Just like Degas, Renoir & Van Gogh, I don't just capture scenes, I want you to feel something. I want you to now only remember what happend on your wedding day, I want you to feel what it felt like to say "I do".
TEN RULES FOR PHOTOGRAPHY.
1 | Marriage is beautiful, and needs to be recorded as such.
2 | Weddings are not a party, it’s a cosmic event.
3 | Photography is fun.
4 | Honest and integrity are the only way to run a business.
5 | Every couple is family.
6 | I don’t take short cuts I make them beautiful.
7 | Price should reasonably reflect the art
8 | There is no such thing as more or less effort. There is only 110%
9 | Weddings don't need to be stressful
10 | A wedding day should reflect the unique story of the couple
