I see wedding photography as an art. There's the art of photography and just as important is the art of experience. The best photographs are taken when you're having the best time. And it takes a different type of artist to not only capture exceptional images, but to guide their subjects in such a way to experience something beautiful as well.

ABOUT LUKE
Photography isn't my job. It's my calling. It's something I've been deeply drawn to ever since I shot my first wedding while in art school.
I love making people feel joyful, confident, excited - and most importantly -- themselves. This is what has set me apart as a photographer. I don't force things on my subjects. I help them draw out who they are. I help my subjects feel alive, beautiful & confident - to experience life & their wedding day to it's fullest.
I believe weddings are a sacred joining of two lives and I don't take that lightly. To preserve the entire story, I take great care that every family member, friend, moment & detail are expertly recorded. I draw from my 13 years of experience as a wedding photographer to ensure your event goes exactly how you dreamed it would.
It takes one level of skill to capture what happend, it takes another level to capture how it felt. That is why when I photograph your wedding celebrations, and you open up your wedding album months and years laster, you'll not only remember what happened, but you'll feel all over again what it was like to say "I do".

My husband and I are so in love with the many beautiful photos from our wedding. We hired Luke because we loved his romantic, timeless, soft, and elegant style. We were so amazed that every photo in the album matched the work on his portfolio, it's so incredible to look back on our album and see how thoughtful and intentional each shot was. Luke is a true professional! He was great throughout the whole planning process and executed everything on the day so perfectly. He captured such special moments (like our intimate first look) without ever interrupting, we barely even noticed he was there! Importantly, he also prioritized getting all of our posed family shots and did multiple configurations. I love that we also have a mix of candid vs. traditional/posed family shots. Our couples portraits are an absolute dream as well!!
